About Dreaming
Hello all I have been reading many of your post about dreaming. I've found them to be great stories to say the least. I have a story to tell about some of my experiences and dream scripts. Not just because there funny, but now that i think about it. They may have some simular relations to what can be called the art of dreaming.
It all started when i was a teenager in this life time. I would go to sleep at night, and wake up in my dreams. Not wake up from a dream, but wake up in my dream. I would be completely aware that i was in my dream state. I would than say to myself as i moved about in the experience of the dream and say, "THIS IS NOT REAL". Nothing was solid. Everthing i saw, and everything around me i was aware of it not being real.
for example i would go in my pocket, try to get money out, but my hand would go right though the pocket. I could see the money very clear, but it was not solid. I would then begin to laugh so hard because i knew that i was dreaming, and the money was not real. It became so clear to me that nothing was real, and i was so aware of it. I'd look forward to going to sleep so that i could tell anyone i can in contact with in the dream, that none of it is real. The people would then look at me as if i was crazy. This went on for a long time, then it stopped. However many year's later i had several dreams where i would be confronted with what we call monsters of some sort of ugly figure, that would try to scare me or intimidate me in some way.
In this type of dream i would turn and face the monster, look dead in it's face and screem out load to get the F----k away from me. It would look at me as if to say wow she really knows that i'm fake. It would then turn and run away. My son was always having dreams of someone chasing him. I told him to stop running turn and face whatever it was chasing him, and tell it to go away. He told me that it worked. He has not had the problem since. Now when i think about it, these type of dreams helps me to understand the nothingess of it all.
